Lorraine Barreau is a Cognitive Behaviour Psychotherapist and has been practicing psychotherapy for 14 years. Lorraine trained at Goldsmith’s University, London, gaining her MSc in CBT in 2006 and returning in 2009 as a visiting tutor to supervise CBT students in training. She has also trained in New York under the direction of Albert Ellis, founder of Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy. Lorraine gained an Associate Fellowship and supervision training with the Albert Ellis Institute.

Lorraine’s work and experience extends across a wide range of individual and group treatments. She has worked in both the private and public sector and has experience in providing CBT within large corporations. Clients include O2 and the Institute of Chartered Accountants. While working as a Cognitive Behaviour Psychotherapist, Lorraine has developed a particular interest in problems with substance misuse and other addictive behaviours.
